Dear LITV family -- It is with great pride that we can announce that shipping has begun for ALL KS prize fulfillment!
So, why the delay?? We want "A Light in the Void" to be a project that lives with you forever. When you experience it, we want it to go straight to your heart just as it did with our live audience in Denver… many of whom were audibly ‘sniffling’ during the final moments! We want what you see and hear to represent the best of what we can do with the incredible trust that you’ve placed in our hands through your dollars.
We flew out the best audio engineering team in the biz from LA to capture the world premier last October in Denver. Our raw “live mix” audio recording was really damn good! That said, as we admitted to ourselves, our live mix out of the box sounded too much like your run of the mill “LIVE!” album… one that leaves the listener with the unquestionable feeling that seeing and hearing the show in person is a far richer experience.
This is unacceptable.
So we decided to put in substantial extra capital (from our own pockets) to go through a proper mix+master process to get a video and audio experience that would live up to our own high standards… we wanted an end product that reflects what WE like to listen to. With all the effort and hard work that this community did to get us here, why not go the extra step and make the show sound like butter?
We took the same approach for the video recording. For the past 3 months, we have been hovering over the video edit to make sure every cut is solid; that every emotional moment is pronounced and fluid. The live video edit that was streamed on the mainpage of Twitch is NOTHING compared to what you all are going to see before anyone else does…
…and so with that, we also want to express our sincerest gratitude for your patience. It is not lost on us that there are many digital prizes that have nothing to do with our audio and video – prizes that seemingly could have been fulfilled months ago. Please know that we have strategically placed 100% of our focus on getting you all the best audio and video of the show possible, and this has come at the cost of shipping the auxiliary digital prizes (and physical prizes) later than expected. This project lives and dies with the audio and video recordings, and so we hope that our labor of love to perfect these core prizes will make up for the unplanned delay.
And with that, we are now off to the printers to process our massive order of shipping labels.
